►Focusing on form and function with special attention to simple expression yet plenty jazzy, the bangle began life as a flat band cut freehand in the shape of a guitar using a fine fret saw. Placed diagonally over a wooden bracelet mandrel, and tapped into a round bangle leaving the ends open with a nylon mallet, we produced an adjustable bangle based on a common bracelet forming technique. A patina black was brushed into the accented details such as strings and frets to refine the design with high contrast details. The sterling silver or aluminum is then burnished with a directional finish that rocks out a light-show.
