Deep green natural color Chinese jade "Cock" or "Rooster" pendant.  Size is approximately 53mm x 33mm and 7.5mm thick.  The reverse side is smoothly polished.  Rooster is standing on an open lotus.  The jade is translucent through the background and part of the carving.  It looks "black" without light behind it.  This is the kind of traditional, nephrite jade that has been used in China for centuries.

Rooster is symbol of dedicated, noble, honest, caring and colorful, with  a lot of artistic talent. 2017 is the year of the "Fire Cock/Rooster"
